Yes. We also recommend using one of our preferred builder: Rempel Homes. Builder and designer must work within our ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN GUIDELINES.

Is there any minimum or maximum requirements on the size of home?

Homes are expected to be no less than 130 m2 (1400 sq. ft).

What are the average sized lots?

In Phase 1a, lots range from .26 acre (12,000 sq.ft) to .45 acre (19,600 sq.ft). To compare, the average town lot is 6,000 sq.ft with some lots being a little as 3,500 sq.ft.

 

What is the minimum distances between homes?

Side yards are a minimum 2.4 m (8 ft) each side, this means the minimum distance between homes is 4.8m (16 ft).

 

Is the subdivision on Town of High River services?

Yes, all basic services are included in the lot price (water, sewer, garbage). Sites are also equipped with high speed fiber optic internet (available through Shaw).

 

Is there a restriction on how much time I have to build a home after lot purchase?

There currently is no restriction, but we think you will want to be here sooner than later.

What does the area provide in terms of recreation, wildlife/farm/green space?

The development is uniquely situated for easy access to recreational activities in southern Alberta such as mountain and river sports, premiere golf courses, and a municipal airport is only 5 minutes away.

What are future development plans?

We are currently selling lots in Phase 1. There are three other phases planned for the future. In Phase 1 we have our first residents living in their new home as of January 2019.

 

What is the travel time to a major centre? 

RedTail Rise is a walkable community to the Town of High River and an easy 25 minute drive to the south end of Calgary.
