OUR STORY
RedTail Rise has a long history in the community. The original homestead located on the site was once Langford Ranch, settled in the 1880s and home to 100 Percheron horses. It was sold in 1902 to Daniel Riley, who went on to become the first Mayor of the Town of High River, and one of the first Senators for the region. RedTail Rise pays homage to this colourful history by reflecting the homestead spirit in the character and quality of the homes.
In 2013 the Town of High River suffered a devastating loss. In the classic form of rugged rural homesteaders, many residents of the community began seeking out ways to restore, rebuild and strengthen their community. This quarter section was purchased by the Rempel Land Company and Augusta Developments in early 2014 to provide this opportunity.
Today Rempel Land Company and Augusta Developments are building a community to honour this rich history, one to stand the test of time.

Jeff Hotchkiss founded Augusta Developments Ltd.in 1996. He manages and participates in a wide range of developments in Alberta. Projects in Calgary and High River cover the residential spectrum from rental apartments to a range of detached housing from entry level to estate homes.
Augusta Developments has also undertaken commercial projects including a transformational mixed-use project in downtown High River and a retail centre in southeast Calgary. A lakeside recreational project on Sylvan Lake is also underway.
Since 2005, Augusta has partnered with Les Rempel of Rempel Homes in each of its High River projects. This strong partnership was founded on the integrity and respect each partner holds as a core attribute in their business and personal dealings.
After many projects together, Augusta Developments and Rempel Homes now proudly introduce RedTail Rise to the High River market, a project that, from its inception, strives to honour High River’s cultural and natural heritage.
